I’m originally from Rhode Island, I came to Steamboat for the winter of 2010/2011 while taking a semester off school. I worked in restaurants, spent my days snowboarding, and stayed for the summer to raft the Yampa and surrounding rivers. Though it was meant to be temporary—I’ve now called Steamboat home for over 15 years.

I come from a family of farmers, gardeners, ranchers, and restaurateurs, food has always been a key part of my life. After snowboarding and rafting to my hearts content I returned to school and graduated from Johnson & Wales Culinary School but knew I wanted to come back to the Yampa Valley. I have spent more than 20 years in professional kitchens. In 2025, I purchased the Shreddies food truck, which became this incredible way to really connect with the community and share my story of recovery.

Shreddies Suppers started simply. My wife Michelle was nannying for  local families who wanted to spend less time on dinner and more time together. I began preparing meals for them—and then for their friends as well, so they could all spend less time on dinner and more time together. There is a real need for high-quality, ready-to-enjoy meals that fit into busy lives without the high prices that come with dining out. Shreddies Suppers  is meant to be a more practical, sustainable option—giving you a convenient streamlined ordering system, with the same level of quality as a restaurant or private chef, at a price point that makes it realistic to enjoy week after week.

As I began thinking about building a family of my own here in the Yampa Valley, I knew I wanted to step away from the grueling hours of traditional restaurant and catering work without stepping away from high level cooking while still serving as much of the community as possible

Shreddies Suppers is my way of doing that: thoughtful, chef-prepared meals conveniently delivered weekly so you can spend less time in the kitchen—and more time enjoying what matters most
